I don’t really know if I believe in heaven, but if there is a heaven, I’d like to believe all animals go there. And that my Grandparents are there, and their ancestors before them. And that Brandon and Joye are there. 

Today I had to put down my kitty of 3 weeks. I’m utterly heartbroken. I’m so thankful that I got to make the last 3 weeks of his life the most awesome 3 weeks ever (at least I hope they were that awesome). I’m also ridiculously thankful for friends who have supported me and let me cry and/or spent unnecessary amounts of time sitting in the free roam rooms at the SPCA playing with kitties with me after Bruce was put down. I have never watched the act of death. There was something about it though… I hope it was as peaceful and painless as they said it would be.

This photo is from this morning. One of the last ones of him. My house already feels empty without him. Amazing how quickly I got attached to my little man.
